Abstract
990,955. Selective retravel storage systems. H. INGHAM. Feb. 13, 1964, No. 6048/64. Heading B8E. A storage system for vehicles, or for loads mounted on wheeled transporters, consists of two or more relatively rotatable rings, each of which is provided with storage spaces and, in the case of the rings outside the innermost ring, also provided with at least one space on which storage is forbidden to allow for transit of vehicles from one ring to another. The three concentric annular rings of storage spaces 16 illustrated leave such transit spaces at 18, 25, 29, these rings being independently rotatable and separated by fixed circular footways 22. At the centre is a circular platform 34 which may be fixed or rotatable.
