A stand for suspending document folders and the like from a pair of suspension rails, comprises side members 2, 3, interconnected by tie-rods 9, 10, and suspension rails 4, 5 lying in a plane inclined at an angle to the vertical. The lower suspension rail 5 is eccentrically mounted on journals 6 rotatable in fixed bearings 7, whereby the rail 5 may be rotated by a knob 8 to space the rails 4, 5 further apart and lock the folders in position. Alternatively, the rail 5 is rotated by means of a key operated lock mechanism, Fig. 2 (not shown). The rear edge of the stand may be enclosed by wire mesh or closely spaced rods extending between the side members 2, 3. Specification 939,676 is referred to.
