Abstract

989,898. Toothed gearing. ROBERT BOSCH G.m.b.H. April 6, 1962 [April 8, 1961], No. 13451/62. Heading F2Q. A gear-wheel comprises two metal discs 1, 2 secured to a shaft 4, a toothed rim 7 of resinous material which exceeds the thickness of the discs 1, 2, a resinous hub 5 adjacent the disc 2, and spoke-like ribs 6 connecting the hub 5 and rim 7, the ribs 6 hub 5 and rim 7 having been produced simultaneously during a single injection moulding operation. The ribs 6 may be curved, as shown in Fig. 1, or tangential to the hub 5, as shown in Fig. 3. Specification 885,153 is referred to.
