[Also in Division H4] A detachable lens assembly for a cine camera comprises within a single housing the elements of an objective lens, a television pick-up tube and optical means to divert part of the light passing through the lens to form an image on the photo-sensitive element of the pick-up tube. As shown, the housing 10 of the assembly contains an objective lens with front member 11,12 and rear members 14,16 of which 14 is in the light path to the film 15 of the camera while 16 receives the light deflected by beam splitter 13 and forms an image on the photo-cathode 17 of the television pick-up tube 18. The focal lengths of the rear objective members 14,16 are in proportion to the respective widths of the image to be formed as the film and that to be formed at 17.
