Abstract

A tape for forming decorative loops has at least one draw member attached to the tape body at longitudinal intervals, between which at lesser intervals the draw member passes through the tape or is inserted therein as a weft thread, successive sections of the draw member thus lying on opposite sides or along opposite edges or the same edge of the tape. A loop midway between the places of attachment constitutes means for drawing out the member to form the decorative loops. At the said lesser intervals the tape may have constrictions formed by drawing out the weft to form nooses. The draw member is attached by means of the weft to a central or other group of warp threads.
