Abstract
A mixed monobed of ion-exchangers is regenerated by agitation with a solution for regenerating anion-exchangers until the resin is regenerated, allowing the lighter anion-exchanger to float on the solution and after its removal regenerating the cation-exchanger. The anion regenerative solution should have a density between that of the resins and may be used at elevated temperature.
