A packaging material for inhibiting corrosion of metallic articles has spaced-area applications of a corrosion-inhibitor compound on one face. The material may be paper sheets having uniformly spaced spots of corrosion-inhibitor covering about 25% of the area of the face. Details of corrosion tests are given. Specifications 723,423 and 849,110 are referred to.
