978,454. Bottle storage units. K. H. MEINECKE. May 16, 1963 [May 17, 1962], No. 19502/63. Heading B8P. A bottle storage unit comprises a block of foamed material with pockets 12 therein and is formed with corresponding projections and recesses 16a, 15b or 15c, 15d to facilitate stacking. The height of each unit at the open end of the pockets is slightly greater than at the closed end and the axis of each pocket n may be rearwardly inclined with respect to the longitudinal centre line m of the unit. Openings may be cut in the units between the pockets and the outside faces and an edge protector 41 of harder material may be fitted on the front surface of each unit.
