Abstract

976,396. Conveyers; wrapping machines. ROSE BROS. (GAINSBOROUGH) Ltd. July 31, 1961 [Aug. 17, 1960], No. 28455/60. Headings B8A and B8C. Articles 11, supported by rails 12, are pushed into successive pockets 20 of an intermittently rotatable mould wheel 21 of a wrapping machine by pusher bars 13 connected between parallel chains 16. The bars 13 are so arranged that their axes approximately coincide with the axis of rotation of sprocket-wheel 17 during the time the portions of the chain supporting the pusher bars are fully engaged by the spocket-wheel so that during this period the bars have no translational movement.
