Abstract
975,098. Transistor distributed amplifiers. PYE Ltd. March 26, 1963 [April 9, 1962], No. 13575/62. Heading H3T. [Also in Division H1] A transistor distributed amplifier, e.g. Fig. 1, has the inter-stage delays dependent on the drift time of charge carriers in treated portions of semi-conductor material (see Division H1). The value of R5 determines in part the frequency response and is adjusted for each resistor separately utilizing a micro-manipulator. Resistors R2 may be omitted. The amplifier may be of the grounded base kind.
