The description is substantially the same as Specification 974,568 but the claims are to tapeform records generally and are concerned with the arrangement by which, when thumb pressure disengages the drum claimed in Specification 974,568 from a drive sprocket 17, the heads 48, 42, for recording and monitoring respectively are disengaged from the drum for record-threading, by the action of a ramp-lever 34 striking a fixed pin 52.
