A powder ammunition charg comprises a number of strips 1 bunched together, each having plurality of holes 2 punched in so that when the charge is ignite the flame will travel from an edg of each strip inwards around th circumference of the holes thu tending to separate the strips and allow even ignition of all surface to be obtained.
