Abstract
Polypropylene is stabilized with a C10 to C18 dialkyl ester of beta-thiodipropionic acid + a reaction product of p-cresol and styrene, a -methylstyrene or vinyl toluene. The reaction product may be 2,6-bis (a -methylbenzyl)-p-cresol, 2,6-bis (a ,a ,-dimethylbenzyl) -p-cresol or 2,6-bis (a -methyl-ring substituted-methylbenzyl) -p-cresol.
