Abstract

968,296. Pan supports. SIDNEY FLAVEL & CO. Ltd. April 8, 1963 [April 19, 1962], No. 15215/62. Heading F4W. A pan support for gas-heated cooking appliances comprises radially extending wire arms mounted on and angularly spaced around a burner head. The six stainless steel, wire arms are formed in pairs around the burner head 10, the lower limbs 18 of the arms engaging holes 19 and the cranked, upper limbs being clamped by a bolt passing through the burner body 12 and the burner head 10 and into the threaded portion 15 of the member 16. Suitable diameters for the stainless steel wire are # inch or <SP>5</SP>/ 32 inch and the top member 17 of each arm is downwardly inclined towards the burner head. The pan support may have various numbers of arms, but not less than three.
