Abstract
964,292. Beverage dispensers. AMERICAN MACHINE & FOUNDRY CO. April 16, 1962 [April 18, 1961], No. 14652/62. Heading A4T. A beverage dispenser comprises two concentrically arranged shells 20 and 22 of transparent material, liquid in the inner shell being withdrawn through an orifice 34 by a pump 52 passed through the gap between the shells and back into the inner shell. The outer shell is mounted directly on and the bottom wall of the inner shell is spaced from a plate 14 cooled by a refrigerating unit 10 whereby the liquid being circulated is cooled. A float 62 is mounted on the axle 48 of the circulating pump and closes the orifice 34 when the inner shell is empty. Radial vanes 32 extend from the wall of the inner shell to the edge of the orifice 34.
