[Also in Division H5] In an incubator having an inner and outer box structure, a thermostatically controlled electric heating element 12 extends in zig-zag manner over the outer surfaces of panels 3-7 of the inner structure, the pitch of the folds being closer towards the hinged door to give greater concentration of heat adjacent the door to compensate for the absence of a heating element in the door. The element 12 is preferably a metal covered cable.
