Abstract
963,415. Road traffic signalling apparatus. BOYNE PRODUCTS Inc. Sept. 13, 1962, No. 34972/62 Heading G4Q. A cancelling cam 10 for use in a turn signal device having a cancelling member movable towards and away from a rotatable steering member is characterised by having an elongated finger portion 12 providing a cam surface of substantially circular cross-section, the finger portion terminating at one end in a spiralling mounting loop 11 of varying diameter. This loop lies in a plane normal to the longitudinal axis of the finger portion and is used for mounting the finger portion on the steering member so as to be rotated by it. The finger portion is of such a cross-sectional size as to engage the cancelling member when this has been moved towards the steering member and then move it away from the steering member. U.S.A. Specification 2,902,556 is referred to.
