963,172. Dispensing liquids. WAYNE TANK & PUMP CO. Ltd. (Symington Wayne Corporation). May 28, 1963 [May 29, 1962], No. 20583/62. Heading A4T. A liquid dispensing apparatus comprises a register assembly of register 24 and ancillary equipment, e.g. air separator 14, secured to a rigid base plate 21 flanged at 22 and enclosed within a skin, and a lower frame assembly comprising a base number 3 and spaced flanged uprights 5 supporting a skin 8, the base plate of the register assembly being secured to the top ends of the uprights of the lower frame assembly. The lower assembly may contain pump 11, motor 12, meter 16 and non-return and relief valve assembly 16, or the lower assembly may act solely as a pedestal with the pump and motor remote therefrom. Various sizes of register and lower assemblies may be connected together to give different designs.
