Abstract

A composition comprises (a) 100 parts by weight of a hydrocarbon copolymer of at least one a -monoolefin and at least one non-conjugated diene and (b) at least 15 parts by weight of a petroleum oil having a flash point above 300 DEG F. and a total nitrogen base and first acidaffin content (defined) not greater than 15% by weight. The compositions are sulphur-vulcanisable by conventional means. Exemplified copolymers are ethylene/propylene / 1, 4 - hexadiene and ethylene/propylene/cyclopentadiene.
