961,855. Feeding containers. MEAD JOHNSON & CO. April 13, 1961, No. 13303/61. Heading A5X. A disposable feeding container comprises a top section 11 having an opening 14 for receiving a nipple and a flexible bottom section 12 sealed to the top section 11 at 13 and collapsible into it. The nipple 15 having a crosscut valve 35 is inserted in the aperture before sealing and positioned with its rim 32 between a rib 23 of the section 11 and the folded-in edge of the aperture. The container may be sterilized and filled with a milk powder before sealing, and the nipple folded within the container and contained within a cover 16 for storage purposes. The container is composed of plastics, rubber &c. In use, the feeding container is filled with a liquid through the valve 35, and during feeding, as liquid is withdrawn, the bottom section collapses and folds along ribs 12a. It may be held by means of an apertured tab 39.
