Abstract

961,282. Cutting light-weight materials e.g. concrete. SHOVDE GASBETONG A.B. April 25, 1963, No. 16339/63. Heading B5A. Light weight concrete is cast in a mould the bottom of which is formed by a sheet 4 of cuttable material, e.g. paper or a plastics material, spread upon spaced laths 3 supported upon a frame 1; the mould walls being removed when the concrete is partially set after which a wire holder 6 is inserted into the space between two laths. To the middle of the holder 6 there is secured a cutting wire 7, and two knives 8 and 9 are situated on either side of the cutting wire. The knives are just long enough to out the sheet 4. The concrete is cut by pulling the cutting wire 7 in the cut formed by the knife 8.
