960,653. Fluid actuation of switches. WARD & GOLDSTONE Ltd. Feb. 6, 1963 [Dec. 16, 1961], No. 45172/61. Heading H2B. In a pressure-switch, operated by a spindle 32 carried by a diaphragm 25 depressing a beryllium-copper spring blade 9, a first movable, double-sided, silver contact 21 is moved from a fixed contact 23 into engagement with a fixed contact 22 and on continued deflection of the blade 9, a second movable contact 44 engages a fixed contact 45. The fixed contacts 22, 23 are disposed on L-shaped phosphor-bronze stampings 18, 19 which are riveted together at 17 with the blade 9. Screws 39, 40, 46 adjust the position of the contacts 22, 23, 45 respectively. Specifications 945,116 and 945,117 are referred to.
