Abstract

A signalling device comprises a number of triangular panels connected together to form the sides of a pyramid, at least one panel being such as to transmit a signalling light from a source of light, e.g. a lamp 11, mounted within the device. In the form shown there are four panels 16, 21, 24 and 27 connected together to form the sides of a pyramid which fits in a rectilinear base plate 11. The panels are in frames 15, 20, 23 and 26 joined together and to the plate 11 by hinges 19, 22, 25 and a bolt 28 to permit their erection to form a pyramid on the plate 11 and their collapse to be in overlapping relationship with each other and the plate 11. The panels may transmit signalling light of one colour. Two adjacent panels may transmit red light, the other two adjacent panels transmitting green or amber light.
