Abstract

958,163. Writing instruments. L. G. MOOJEN. May 1, 1963 [May 8, 1962], No. 17607/62. Heading B6P. A crayon 3 which is slidable within a protective tube 1 has embedded therein a continuous resilient strip 5, the free ends 6 of which are adapted to dig into the wall of the tube 1 to prevent the crayon receding under writing pressure. The strip 5 may be V-shaped, U- shaped with one leg shorter than the other, or L-shaped, Figs. 2, 3 and 4 (not shown). Specifications 905,472 and 912,519 are referred to.
