Abstract

957,762. Stillages. ALPHA CONTAINERS Ltd. March 12, 1963 [March 12, 1962], No. 9403/62. Heading B8H. Feet A, Fig. 8, are secured to the platform 1 of a stillage by fitting bent-out tongues 2a integral with the platform into a cavity or cavities 10 in each foot, each tongue being in contact with a wall of the foot. The foot A may be replaced by a simple sleeve of rectangular horizontal section (Fig. 2, not shown) into which is fitted a separate insert 5, Fig. 3, the tongues each being pinched between an outer wall of the insert and an inner wall of the sleeve. In the latter form there may be four triangular, instead of two rectangular, tongues 2a for each foot. In all forms the feet and the tongues may be stapled together.
