Abstract

An easily-handled, dry, free-flowing, choline chloride feed supplement is made by spray drying an aqueous slurry of choline chloride and a finely powdered, lightweight, water-absorbent material, exemplified particularly by synthetic calcium silicates, silica gels, calcined diatomite and calcium lignosulphonate. Gelatine, skim milk powder, gum arabic or the like gum may be used in addition or alternatively. The choline chloride products mixed with mill feeds, middlings, flours, dextrose, sucrose or powdered oyster shell may be tableted.
