A trap for catching lobsters and crabs comprises two frusto-conical shaped halves 1, 2 formed of soft perforated plastic material, which are interlocked by locking members and an inwardly converging plastic entrance funnel in one half. The edges of the halves are connected to external lugs 7, 8 of rigid plastic rings 5, 6 and the locking members are formed by bayonet members 9, 10 on the inner side of the rings.
