Hard, telescopic, gelatin capsules containing medicaments are sealed by contacting the capsules with a solution of a sealing agent, e.g. shellac, zein, sandarac, polyvinyl pyrrolidone or cellulose-acetate-phthalate in a so-called " coating drum " and thereafter removing the solvent by evaporation.
