956,123. Making fan grilles. VAN DER HEEM N.V. Feb. 22, 1963 [Feb. 23, 1962], No. 7254/63. Heading B3A. A method of making a fan grille comprises forming a substantially flat piece of gauze of substantially parallel wires 1 interconnected by cross-rods 2, the wires and cross-rods having projecting ends at the circumference of the gauze, bending said ends out of the plane of the gauze in accordance with the shape of the grille to be formed and thereafter securing the projecting ends to a ring 5 in the shape of the circumference of the grille. Prior to bending, end rods 2a, 2b are removed from the gauze. Additional wires 6 may be welded to the projecting ends of the rods 2.
