Abstract

955,052. Switch contacts. PRODUKTIONSAKTIESELSKABET TOROTOR. Oct. 2, 1962, No. 37214/62. Heading H2B. An electric switch comprises a disc made up of three layers of insulating material 1, 2 and 3, and a bearing plate 5 of a resilient insulating material with slots 7 and 8 and a recess 6 into which the disc engages. The disc is mounted in the plate 5 by pulling the two halves of the plate apart, the strip 9 acting as a hinge so that layers 1 and 3 with contacts 4 lie either side of the plate 5. Contact springs 10, secured to the strip 9 engage contacts 4. The bearing plate 5 may alternatively comprise two separate halves pivoted together and fastened across the slot 7 after the introduction of the disc.
