954,005. Riding devices. D. K. BROWN, and W. H. KINTZINGER. Feb. 28, 1963, No. 8111/63. Heading A6M. A rocking riding device comprises an outer ring 10, a central pivot point 16 below the level of said ring, and seats 15 symmetrically mounted on a framework 13 within said ring. The apparatus rests on a floor and suitable movements of persons sitting the seats produce a rotatory rocking motion. A more violent motion is obtained the longer the central pivotal post 12. Fig. 5 shows means for altering the length of the central post. The ring need not be ciroular, but egg shaped as in Fig. 7 (not shown), or undulating as in Fig. 8 (not shown). Any number of seats may be incorporated, or seating may be in the form of a circular ring, Fig. 6 (not shown).
