For use in welding assembled contacting metal laminae a plastic explosive comprising 70 parts powdered pentaerythritol tetranitrate, 30 parts binder containing 4 parts nitrocellulose, 3 parts dibutylphthalate and 23 parts dinitrotoluene oil is employed.
