Abstract

953,030. Dolls. WRITING TOYS CORPORATION. March 23, 1962 [April 19, 1961], No. 11294/62. Heading A6S. [Also in Divisions B6 and F2] A doll 98 capable of writing words or designs on a pad 60 held in its left hand is actuated by an electric motor-driven cam disc (see Division F2) in a housing 10 in the doll's chest. The pad 60, preferably of " Magic Slate " type, is mounted on an arm 61 fixed to the housing 10. The stylus 59 is mounted on an arm 54A which is moved longitudinally and transversely by respective cam tracks on the face of the cam disc. The doll's body may be hinged or slotted to give access for changing the cam disc.
