949,001. Covering golf balls. L. F. MUCCINO. May 2, 1962, No. 16903/62. Heading B5A. A golf ball is coated by centring the ball centre 7 in one half 1 of a book mould containing a measured amount of liquid urethane polymer where it is retained until the polymer has set sufficiently to hold the centre. The book mould is then closed so that the other half of the ball centre is pressed into the second half 2 of the book mould which also contains a measured amount of liquid urethane polymer 41 and the mould is clamped until the polymer has set.
