Abstract

A polysiloxane stereo printing plate is prepared from a paste comprising 100 parts by weight of a dimethylpolysiloxane having terminal hydroxy groups and of viscosity 2,600 c.p. mixed at 25 DEG C. with 30 parts by weight of a diatomaceous earth, 20 parts by weight of Whitetex clay, 20 parts by weight of zinc oxide, 1.7 parts by weight of red iron oxide and 3 parts by weight of ethyl silicate. 1.75 parts by weight of dibutyl tin dilaurate were added to the paste while stirring. Examples are given of the compositions of two similar pastes. Specifications 764,246, 798,669, 806,199, 828,657 and 841,825 are referred to.
