942,617. Two-part couplings. LAND PYROMETERS Ltd. Sept. 24, 1962 [Sept. 23, 1961], No. 34152/61. Heading H2E. [Also in Division G1] A pyrometer with a replaceable thermocouple unit comprises two similar plastic parts A (Fig. 2), having recesses for spring blades 14 and thermocouple wires 17 covered by a U-shaped silica tube 19, the two parts A being cemented together and covered by a cardboard tube 8. The thermocouple output is taken off by a coaxial jack plug 23A, 23B which mates with the spring blades 14.
