Water is electrically heated in tank 22 by heater 49 and pumped to bath 12 through ducts 53, 57 and valve 52 by means of electric pump 50, 51. The pump 50, 51 can also be connected to duct 54 by valve 52 so as to empty the bath through a hose 85 connected to the outlet end 58 of duct 57. The tank 22, bath 12 and surround 46 are of glass fibre reinforced plastic construction.
