Abstract

A wheeled trunk, suitcase, or the like has an extensible U-shaped handle 1 slidable within sleeves 3 provided on a wall of the trunk. A further handle may be provided on the trunk base and each handle when extended provides support for further luggage. The sleeves 3 may act as skids when the trunk is dragged up a staircase. Means may be provided to retain the handle(s) in the retracted or extended positions. <IMAGE>
