939,998. Buckets. BRITISH PETROLEUM CO. Ltd., and H. U. MAIER. Oct. 31, 1962 [Dec. 4, 1961], No. 43264/61. Class 66. The handle 12 of a bucket 11, which can be stood on the roof of a car being cleaned, has an integral container 14 which retains a sponge &c. in both vertical and horizontal positions of the handle. The handle and container, and also the bucket, are preferably moulded in plastic, the container being connected to the handle by a web 5 and formed of three crescentshaped sheets 14a, 14b, 14c apertured for drainage and approximately, normal to each other at the joints, a hand grip space 16 being provided, and the bucket having three integral legs 17 which receive push-fit or screwed extension legs 18 of plastic wood or metal which are provided with cushion feet 19. The bottom 20 of the bucket is rounded to provide complete drainage of cleaning fluid to an outlet 21 to which a hose 22 can be connected, the hose having a barbed, perforated connection 23 on which the sponge is impaled for use.
