939,653. Boring earth &c. BERGWERKSVERBAND G.m.b.H. March 29, 1960 [April 9, 1959], No. 10998/60. Class 85. A drilling rod a carries a three-armed body b with roller cutters d mounted on the arms c. The cutting ribs of the rollers are toothed, and arranged so that the ribs of a roller are operative in the areas between the grooves formed by the ribs of the previous roller. A stripper i havnig recesses corresponding to the cutting ribs is mounted on the body, and cleans the ribs. (For Figure 3, see next page.)
