Abstract

938,589. Glasshouses. T. TERLINDEN, and W. TERLINDEN. July 8, 1960 [Aug. 27, 1959], No. 23866/60. Class 20 (1). A glasshouse comprises a plurality of glazed frames 2, each having a roof portion 4 and a side-wall portion 3, the roof portions 4 of opposed frames 2 being pivoted together at 15 by pins 14 engaging bushes 13 secured to the respective portions 4. The adjacent side-wall portions are secured together by bushes 5 disposed on respective adjacent portions and engaged by a common pin, a castor 6, or forked rest, Fig. 3 (not shown), being secured to the lower end of the pin and arranged to engage rails 8 extending longitudinally of the glasshouse. In another embodiment, Fig. 3 (not shown), the roof portions 4 are secured by similar pin and bush means to one or more rows of frames 16 (not shown) forming the upper part of the roof.
