937,706. Supporting cables and conduits. ILLINOIS TOOL WORKS Inc. May 12, 1960, No. 16819/60. Class 36. [Also in Group XXV] An all-plastic securing device of the type comprising a strap 14 with a widened head portion 12 in which is a slot through which the tongue of the strap may be passed to form a belt to contain cables 16 or the like, has wedge - shaped projections 22 which lock the tongue portion into the head portion, and the strap is provided with a further aperture through which passes the pin of a two-part all-plastic mounting member. The mounting member consists of a first portion 45 with a head 46 and a plurality of expandable shank portions 48 which are passed through a hole in a panel 44, and a second portion in the form of a pin 50 of slightly larger diameter than the bore of the shank 48 so that it expands the latter when driven into it to lock the first portion into the hole in the panel; a head 55 on the pin 50 secures the strap holding- the cables.
