Abstract

936,682. Ingot moulds. FOSECO TRADING A.G. Oct. 23, 1961 [Nov. 4, 1960], No. 38019/60. Class 83 (1). An ingot mould 1 has at its upper end slots 2 which are closed on the inside by a fracturable exothermic or heat insulating lining or a multilayer lining 4. The ingot is extracted from the mould by causing grab arms to pass through the slots, breaking the lining and gripping the ingot. Specifications 120,334, 627,678, 785,984 and 805,823 are referred to.
