Bifurcated clips for securing upholstery material or trimming to a flange or similar edge of a metal pan for a seat have in each limb 1 inwardly punched projections 2 to grip the material and each limb has a circular hole 3 near one carrier so that, for loading into a machine, the devices can be mounted on a rod 5 and will hang in uniform positions.
