[Also in Group XXXII] Spring devices V are interposed between the ends of a heavy load L and a container C, spring devices M, N, O, P, T, T<SP>1</SP> and B, B<SP>1</SP> being placed in different attitudes for absorbing stresses in other directions. The container has inner and outer cylindrical walls comprising bottom semi-cylindrical parts 50, 51 and complementary upper semi-cylindrical parts consisting of hinged together parts 52, 53 and 54, 55. The adjacent longitudinal edges of the part 57 and the parts 54, 55 are connected together by releasable toggle-type catches 57, 58.
