Abstract

933,395. Time switches. CHAMBERLAIN & HOOKHAM Ltd. April 27, 1961 [May 2, 1960], No. 15296/60. Class 38 (5). In a timer similar to that of Specification 933,394, the cam-shaft 10 and a shaft 16 carrying the selector arm 17 are interlocked by a lever 22 controlled by a cam 20 on shaft 10, so that when a cycle of operations has started, the lever 22 is cammed to a position where it engages one of a number of recesses in a disc 23 on shaft 16 so as to lock the latter until the cycle has been completed. In an alternative arrangement, the shaft 16 is operated by a homing motor which can be isolated by a switch operated by a cam on shaft 10 as soon as that shaft commences to rotate. Specifications 933,396 and 933,397 also are referred to.
