933,327. Cattle grids. I. J. SUTHERLAND, and I. J. FLEMING. Sept. 29, 1961 [June 15, 1961], No. 21679/61. Class 104 (2). A cattle grid comprises an outer frame 10 from which an inner frame 12, carrying a grid 13 of wire mesh or expanded metal, is supported by springs 16 through hooks 15 and brackets 11. Two floor carrying sections 17, 18 hinged to the side of the outer frame 10 are lowered when cattle are to be driven across the inner frame 12. The inner frame 12 or wire mesh 13 may be electrified in which case the hooks 15 are electrically insulated or, alternatively, the frame 12 is supported by rubber bonded to the inner and outer frames 12, 10.
