932,260. Thermocouples. AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS CO. Ltd. Feb. 23, 1962 [April 11, 1961], No. 13026/61. Class 37. [Also in Group XXXVIII] A thermocouple for measuring the temperature of a moving surface comprises a spring- loaded disc 17 having an iron centre 17a surrounded by a constantan ring 17b, which is pressed against the test surface by a constantan spring 18 welded to the ring 17b, and located centrally inside a housing 10 by an insulating cylinder 13. The constantan spring 18 and an iron spring wire 22 welded to the disc 17a form the leads to the thermocouple elements.
