Abstract

A substantially kinematic mount for a rigid object 1, 11, comprising planar, linear and point contact constraining means is claimed. At least one of the constraining means comprises a rigid body 5, 6 and a resilient body 7, 17 which together are adapted to urge said rigid object into contact with the other two of the constraining means. 2 is a rigid pin and 8 is a support surface. <IMAGE>
