930,490. Blasting cartridges. WASAGCHEMIE A.G. Oct. 4, 1961 [June 15, 1961 (2)], No. 35799/61. Class 9 (1). A cartridge case 1 for an explosive charge, which may be used for underwater seismic surveys, has a rectangular cross-section and a preferably circular opening 2 closed either by a push-in lid or a screw cover held in place by metal adhesives or metal clips. In addition one or more handles 4 are provided and a tube 3 inserted to receive a fuze. To make a compound charge several cases 1 may be tied together, the flat sides providing good contact between the charges.
